Indodax hit by $20.5M exploit, North Korea link suspected

Indonesian crypto change Indodax has reportedly suffered a $20.5 million exploit, based on blockchain safety agency Cyvers.

The losses had been unfold throughout a number of chains, together with a $1.4 million loss in Bitcoin and a $5 million theft on the TRON and Polygon networks. Different impacted blockchains had been Optimism and Ethereum, which had over $14 million in losses.

Yosi Hammer, Cyvers’ Head of AI, indicated that North Korea-backed Lazarus Group hackers might need carried out the assault.

He said:
