UK government seeks artists and architects for Queen Elizabeth II memorial

The UK authorities has launched a contest to design a memorial for Queen Elizabeth II, calling on main artists, architects and engineers to submit concepts for the monument masterplan. The proposed memorial will probably be situated in St James’s Park in London, the UK’s oldest Royal Park, near Buckingham Palace.
