Iran-based crypto exchange hacked for $48M amid cyberattack claims by Israel-linked group

Iranian crypto change Nobitex has suffered a serious safety breach, ensuing within the lack of over $48 million.

Israel-linked group claims accountability

In a public message on the social media platform X, the group accused Nobitex of aiding Iran’s navy operations and serving to customers circumvent international sanctions.

It said:

The group additional claimed that employment at Nobitex qualifies as navy service beneath Iranian regulation, implying the change is a part of the nation’s protection and intelligence infrastructure.
