AB DAO and the AB Charity Basis co-hosted the inaugural “Tech-Pushed Philanthropy Closed-Door Discussion board” in Dublin, Eire, marking a significant milestone of their joint mission to reshape the worldwide philanthropic panorama via expertise and belief.
The discussion board was chaired by Mr. Bertie Ahern, Chairman of the AB Charity Basis, former Prime Minister of Eire, and former President of the European Council. In his keynote speech, titled “Expertise and Belief – A New Order for Philanthropy”, Mr. Ahern emphasised the significance of constructing reliable techniques for public good within the digital age.
Distinguished company included H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria and former Chairperson of the African Union, and Mr. Malcolm Byrne, Irish Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Committee on Synthetic Intelligence. Collectively, members explored how rising applied sciences like blockchain and AI can empower international well-being and improve transparency in philanthropy.
Mr. Anthony Tsang, representing the AB public blockchain, introduced the newest technological breakthroughs, together with the high-performance mainnet, the AB Join cross-chain protocol, and the Common Switch Protocol, which allows gas-free transactions.
