Philadelphia Art Museum taps former Metropolitan Museum leader after firing previous director – The Art Newspaper

Lower than three weeks after the board of the Philadelphia Artwork Museum (PAM) fired its director and chief govt of three years, Sasha Suda, the museum has chosen Daniel H. Weiss to switch her. Suda is at present suing the museum, alleging unfair remedy and abuse, amongst different claims.

Weiss, who was the director and chief govt of the Metropolitan Museum of Artwork in New York from 2015 to 2023, has spent the previous two years as a professor and adviser at Johns Hopkins College in Baltimore.
